Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It is my great honor and pleasure to invite you to the 3rd International Congress of Cardionephrology and Hypertension "KARNEF 2017", to be held from May 11 to 13 2017. in Pirot.
"KARNEF" has become a traditional meeting of cardiologists and nephrologists, with equal participation of doctors of other specializations: physiologists, pathophysiologists, clinical biochemists, pharmacologists, endocrinologists, vascular and cardiac surgeons. For the first time this year, we will include, pharmacists, chemists and biologists, as well.
A multidisciplinary approach in patients with combined heart and kidney damage is of great importance in the early detection, prevention and treatment, considering very complex etiopathogenesis of these diseases.
The Conference will include plenary lectures, thematic sessions, workshops and meetings with experts from various fields of researches. Awards are provided for the best research work in the field of Cardionephrology.
As in previous years there will be a large number of speakers and lecturers, from abroad, which certainly points out all the importance and the quality of this Congress
This is the 8th school of Cardionephrology, unique, not only in our country, but in the region and in Southeastern Europe.
The role of Serbian Cardionephrology Association in scientific and educational work in the field of combined heart and kidney disease, as well as in the organization of such great events is recognized by the major international associations. Our organization has become an affiliate member of the International Society of Nephrology (ISN).
I cordially invite you to join us and to actively take part in the Conference and thus contribute to the further development of Cardionephrology in Serbia.
